Unsigned Senior Spotlight: Jake Semak, Livonia Stevenson

Jake Semak, RHP, Livonia Stevenson HS, 2013

The 6-2 Semak has a bigger body that still has some filling out to do.  His clean simple delivery allows him to repeat well and throw consistent strikes. He spins the ball well and has feel for his secondary pitches. His fastball sits in the low to mid 80's with the potential of sitting more 84-85 this spring.

Semak is also a strong student.  He has a 3.98 GPA along with a 28 ACT and is magna cum laude.

Semak was a big reason that Livonia Stevenson made a trip to the State Quarterfinals last year. A consistent performer for Spartans, Semak will end up being a four year starter.  Expect Semak, along with teammates Mike Vomastek, Travis Harvey, and Michael Kanitra to all perform well and have another big year for Stevenson.
