MONDAY, MARCH 26TH

+ LHP Sean McNair (Deerfield IL, 2026) our scouts got a quick look at the southpaw in a brief relief appearance in Game 2 of their doubleheader action on Monday night at Riverdale. McNair is a smaller 5-foot-7, 158-pound body that plays much bigger. Working from a lower ¾ arm slot, he was dominant in his 2.1 innings of work out of the pen, allowing just one hit and striking out four. The lefty worked with the fastball and slider primarily during his outing, the fastball played at 81-83 mph and topped 84 mph a few times as it showed some arm side action to the offering. Playing well off the fastball with some later break/sweep was the slider that operated in the low-70’s range. Look for the southpaw to continue to gain velo as the body continues to develop and grow.
