The 16u Toronto Mets Florida Schedule and Pitching Rotations Are Released

By Chris Kemlo
PBR Ontario Scouting Director

The 16u Toronto Mets will be in Cocoa Beach Florida playing against competition from Tennessee, Massachusetts, Florida, and some crosstown rivals from back home in the likes of Team Ontario and the London Badgers.

Games will be played in Cocoa Beach March 14-19 while the Mets will carry a roster size of 21. Landon Leach is one of a handful of quality arms that coach Hyung Cho will look to on the mound. The 2017 grad has been up to 87 mph in the past month.

The 16th and 17th will also give us an early look at Team Ontario and their 16u prospects. Team Ontario also participates in the PBLO along with the Mets, so this will be the first of many meetings between the two squads this year.

One thing to watch with the Mets is their middle infield. Dondrae Bremner, Jackson Arender, and Daniel Carinci are all athletic prospects who have above average hands. They should be fun to watch this year as a collective group.
