X-FACTOR:
The Chargers had a deep run into May last season The X factor will be how do they handle change?  The 14-15 Chargers replaced 11 seniors and their head coach.  The preseason will need to be a time for this team to come together in preparation for an always tough Jeffco League.

NEW PLAYER TO WATCH:
Mike Lucero, the junior play anywhere infielder and pitcher will eat up innings all over the field and help to feel the gap left by 11 seniors from the 13-14 team.

KEY PLAYERS LOST:
Mason Brown, Nick Chamberlain, Matthew Jarecki, Patrick Barder, Blake Moore

STAT RAT:
The Chargers relied on the long ball in 13-14 belting 29 home runs, run production will have to stay high to compete in the offensive minded Jeffco League.

Bottom Line:
The Chargers had a great season and playoff run in 13-14, this years team has stacked their non-league schedule to get ready for the upcoming league season and another playoff run.  Short Stop Kyle Winkler will be counted on heavily to lead this years team.  Winkler, who also was the QB of the football team, hit .524 with 32 hits and 24 RBI's and 3 HR in 2014.  O'Dell has three years of varsity experience and will be asked to carry more of the load on the hill this year and a new group of starters out of the junior class will need to have a steep learning curve to help the Chargers.
