2017 TEAM PREVIEW: FRemont EAGLES

Head Coach: Justin Bock
Class: 1A
2016 Record: 15-15
Conference (2016 Record):  NECC 5-6
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/4

2017 Team Strengths:

• Pitching
• Defense
• Team Chemistry 

Top Returning Players:

• Rhett Evans, SS/RHP, 2018: .455BA 14SB 20RBI
• Nate Midtgard, P, 2017: 5-4 44.2IP 42K 2.82ERA 

Outlook:  Fremont finished 15-15 last season, but returns 5 starters and their top 3 pitchers.  Coach Bock expects the newcomers to step into bigger roles and execute. The Eagles have the pitching and defense to compete at the top of the NECC and hopefully a sectional championship.
