2017 TEAM PREVIEW: oak hill golden eagles

Class: 2A
2016 Record: 23-6
Conference (2016 Record):  6-1
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/3

2017 Team Strengths:

• Offense
• Pitching 

Top Returning Players:

• Bradon Nelson, SS, 2017
• Spencer Ballinger, OF/RHP, 2018
• Caleb Middlesworth, RHP, 2018 

Outlook:  The Golden Eagles had a record setting season in 2016 behind a strong senior class.  Coach Edwards believes the offense can produce runs, but they will need to fill roles defensively.  Pitching expects to be strong as well behind Spencer Ballinger and Caleb Middlesworth. A 4-year starter, Bradon Nelson (Wabash commit), should bring leadership and run production for the Golden Eagles.
