2017 TEAM PREVIEW: northwestern tigers

2016 Record: 17-11
Conference (2016 Record):  Hoosier Conference - 6-4
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/4

2017 Team Strengths:

• Experience 

Top Returning Players:

• Collin Hodson, SS, 2017: .356BA 6XBH
• Trey Richmond, INF/P, 2017: .351BA 6XBH 20RBI
• Breven Sanford, OF, 2018: .269BA 12SB

Outlook:  Coach Ward takes the Tigers into 2017 with 5 returning hitters and his two top statistical players.  They will need to fill some big roles on the mound.  If the pitching can support the offense, Northwestern should be at the top third of the Hoosier Conference this spring.
