Preseason All State Spotlight 2018 MIF Yoanny Carrizo

On January 27th, 2018 at IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL, 100 of the top high school prospects ranging from the 2018-2021 classes will participate in Preseason All-State which is the premier kickoff event for the 2018 spring high school season. Preseason All-State will feature high-end draft talent, numerous Division 1 recruits, and some of the top uncommitted underclassman in the state.

Leading up to the event we will highlight each upcoming participant through their own individual spotlight which includes video, reports, and more. Today we take a look at 2018 MIF Yoanny Carrizo of Miami Brito HS, FL.

Scouting Report

08/16/17- Athletic actions at short. Quick first step with range to both glove and hand side. Hands are soft, funnels ball into his frame with a quick and clean transfer. Offensively, the right handed hitter hits from an upright stance. He has  strong lower half and present bat speed. There is some steepness in the swing, but is a short path to the ball. Also ran a 6.96 60 yard dash
