3/15/20

Positional Profile: SS
Body: 5-10, 160-pounds. Average frame
Hit: RHH. Balanced and open stance Leg lift and hand load. Controlled swing and slides forward. Middle approach with mainly line drive and fly ball contact
Power: 89 mph exit velocity from the tee. Flashed pull pop
Arm: RH. INF - no throw mph. Did not throw
Defense: Good actions.Soft hands and field ball clean. Feet move athletically
Run: 7.03 runner in the 60.

7/18/19

Highly athletic 5- foot- 10, 155 pound middle infielder shows advanced defensive ability at shortstop. Plays through the ball well, moves well in all directions, gets the hops that he wants, and has a strong arm. One play that stands out was a high chopper up the middle and McBroome came and got a short hop making a hard play look easy. At the plate against Top Tier North Duffy McBroome went 2-3 with a walk. McBroome led off the game with a booming double to center field that one hopped the wall, getting the offense going for Starters 16u. 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs against STiKS Red on Sunday.

6/16/19

5-foot-10, 150-pound right-handed hitting shortstop.  7.05 runner.  Open stance with relaxed handset.  Leg lift and strides to square.  Rhythm in load.  Aggressive and loose swing.  Uses the whole field with line drive and fly ball contact.  Average barrel contact with 83 mph exit velocity.  IF- Solid actions and moves athletically.  Good glove and fields ball clean.  80 mph arm strength with good carry and accuracy. 

3/16/19

5-foot-9, 145-pound right-handed hitting shortstop. 7.32 runner. Tall open stance, good rhythm with athletic hands, finds barrel consistently, occasional line drive pop in bat, has ability to use whole field, 83 mph exit velocity. Solid tempo to field, athletic movements, softer glove, above avg. arm action, flashes actions in field, 77 mph arm across infield.

 

7/11/18- 5-foot-8, 135-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder.  7.14 runner.  Upright stance that starts with a leg lift.  Transfers weight into ball and a slight hitch that can make for uphill swing plane at times.  Swing is loose with gap to gap approach.  Consistent solid line drive contact through the middle of the field.  77 mph exit velocity.  IF- Shows good actions with above average glove and stays athletic on feet.  Fields the ball out in front with funnel back to body.  Good carry and accuracy to bag with 77 mph arm strength.
