Hamilton senior outfielder Ryan Kennedy is focusing on six schools in his recruiting process.

"Right now, I've been receiving attention and been in contact with Evansville, Western Kentucky, Miami, Tiffin, Lake Erie, and Belmont Abbey in North Carolina," he said.

Kennedy, who likely projects as a corner outfielder at the next level, participated in the Top Prospect Games in June.

The 6-foot, 165-pound prospect continued, "All six schools have so many great things to offer, which is making the recruiting process tough, but there's something different about each school that puts them in my top six."

Kennedy has been taking his visits and exploring his different optIons.

"I've recently gone to Evansville and Miami, and I'm going up to Tiffin this month, Lake Erie next month, and hopefully Western Kentucky as well," he said.

Building relationships is key for Kennedy.

"I've become pretty close with Coach McGee at Lake Erie. We text and stay in pretty frequent contact. I've also been emailing back and forth with Coach Carroll from Evansville, Coach Dykes from Western Kentucky, Coach Ison from Miami, and Coach Wilkins from Tiffin," he explained.

If it came down to putting one school above the rest, Kennedy said, "It would probably be Evansville."
