Brennan Kyle, OF/LHP, AY Jackson
Scouting Report: 5-foot-5, 125-pound left-hander with room to add physical strength gains and growth. Off the mound, Kyle had a good tempo delivery with proper separation and good arm action. Arm angle was a high-¾ arm slot that can allow him to get on top and create downhill angle when he gets out-front and finishes. Fastball was 63-64 mph, was able to throw for strikes when he stayed online and finished. Curveball was 53-55 mph while his changeup sat 60-62 mph that day. Hands get loaded back and have good path to contact. Backside needs to get through and finish to create more power and force through hitting zone. Good foundation at the plate, exit velocity 66 mph. Defensively, moved well in the outfield with clean actions and a quick transfer and release. Footwork was clean and was clocked at 67 mph from a high-¾ arm slot with true rotation.

Jordan Kazen, RHP/3B, Notre Dame High School
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 215-pound stocky, compact build for the 2017 grad. Worked only out of stretch during bullpen session. Slight hip turn to start delivery, arm was clean and free with a drop and drive in his lower half. Worked out of a ¾ arm slot, slightly across his body with landing foot, would open up losing some leverage on front leg. Was able to fill the zone with all three pitches. Fastball was 73-75 mph with some arm side run. Changeup sat between 66-68 mph, tendency to slow arm. Curveball was 62-64 mph and lost arm speed as well. Keeping same tempo and rhythm with all three of his pitches will be a big key for Kazen and he continues to develop.
