Prep Baseball Report hosted the MoKan Summer Open on June 29th at Mac N Seitz's training facility.   The event was a pro-style workout of 32 players coming from both Missouri and Kansas.  Although the event was smaller in numbers it was not small on talent with multiple players posting some impressive numbers on the day.  You can click on the player's name to access their individual player profile.  Today we take a look at the top leaders in multiple categories from home to first times, exit velos, arm strength metrics, pop times, and max fastballs.

We ran home to first times to measure speed at this event and had some absolute fliers down the line headed up by Gavin Williams in the 22 class at an impressive 3.77 seconds.  Peyton Mitchell broke the 4 second barrier as well at 3.98 seconds from the 2023 class.  Collin Dobson led the way in the 2024 class at 4.06 seconds down the line.

The top exit velocity off the tee belonged to 2023 Easton Roe at 95 mph.  Tommy Lapour had an impressive day highlighted by his 94 mph exit velocity with Chase Brock leading the way in the 2022 class at 93 mph.  The top exit velocity in the 2024 class was posted by Stefan Pennington at 92 mph.  

The top infield arm strength belonged to Chase Brock in the 2022 class at 91 mph.  Austin Neuweg was right behind him in the 22 class at 88 mph.  Cooper Hudson posted an impressive 83 mph arm across the diamond in the 2024 class with Easton Roe leading the way in the 2024 class at 82 mph.  Tommy Lapour flashed his arm strength in the outfield posting an eye popping 92 mph from the 2023 class.  Caden Carter had the top outfield arm in the 2024 class at 80 mph with Gavin Williams leading the way in the 22 class at 78 mph.

Peyton Mitchell had the most arm strength behind the plate coming in at 77 mph which led way to pop times in the range of 1.96-2.09.  Alec Butler had the top catcher pop time from the event at 1.95 and put that together with his 75 mph radar gun reading.  Carter Rice had an impressive day throwing the ball in the 2024 class at pop times at 1.97-2.16 and 73 mph radar gun reading.

The firmest fastball at the event belonged to 2023 Denton Biller at 87 mph with Tommy Lapour right behind him at 86 mph.  Cooper Hudson posted the top velo in the 2024 class at 83 mph with Reid Robinson leading the way in the 2025 class at 78 mph.
