As we prepare for the upcoming 2016 high school season, we will be taking a preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

Season Outlook
The Uylsses Tigers return seven position players and three starting pitchers from last year's 12-9 team.  Four of those starters earned All-conference honors for their efforts last spring.  Among those are senior C/RHP/SS Diego Maravilla and senior C/RHP/SS Devory Pio.  The two combined for 106-plus innings last year with 10 wins and 88 strikeouts.  They will a formidable duo for the Tigers in 2016 and will look to lead the Tigers to another winning season.  Coach Wiginton will also have two other returning All-Conference players from last years squad, senior 3B Saul Torres and senior 1B Emilio Ballesteros.  The quartet of seniors will lead a younger crop of players looking to keep the winning tradition going, looking to repeat as Central Kansas Shootout Champs and push for a conference title.
