On a beautiful day for baseball, here is a look at scores and highlights from all the Saturday action around the state.

#1 Tates Creek 19, Highlands 0
Jaren Shelby went 3-for-3 with 2 doubles, a triple, and 3 RBI, Luke Rouse went 3-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI, and Blake Rose added 3 hits as Tates Creek scored 9 runs in the 3rd and 10 in the 4th in the rout.  Noah Stone pitched a 5-inning complete game, allowing 1 hit with 5 strikeouts.

#1 Tates Creek 13, Harrison County 6 (8 Innings)
Luke Rouse had a 4-for-4 day, Devin Hairston added 2 hits, and Jaren Shelby and Kendrick Cruise each doubled and drove in 2 runs as Tates Creek scored 7 runs in the 8th inning to blow the game open.  Tanner McCoy worked 6.2 strong innings, allowing 4 hits and 0 earned runs in picking up the win in relief.

#3 St. Xavier 2, #9 PRP 1
Hayden Ford doubled and drove in a run, and Cameron Revelette allowed 3 hits and 1 earned run in 6 innings to pick up the win.  JD Mundt struck out 2 in the 7th to earn the save.

#4 Mercer County 8, Corbin 0
Logan Horn went 3-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, and Brandon Doughty went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI to lead Mercer County. 

#4 Mercer County 7, Wayne County 0
Chris Goodman went 3-for-3 with a RBI, Logan Horn went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI, and JT Long went 2-for-3 with a double as Mercer County won two games on the day.  Andrew Yates fired a complete game, no-hitter with 6 K’s.

#6 Eastern 13, Fern Creek 1

#6 Eastern 11, Thomas Nelson 0

#7 Beechwood 6, Campbell County 2
Brayden Combs went 2-for-3 with a HR, and Brett Slusher doubled and drove in 2 runs as Beechwood broke open a tie game by scoring 4 runs in the top of the 7th.  Combs worked 5.2 innings on the mound, and Ethan Stringer picked up the win in relief, tossing 1.1 scoreless innings.

#10 McCracken County 10, #11 Henderson County 2
Cole Womack, Trent Shelby, and Derek Schneider each collected 2 hits as the Mustangs scored early and often in the win.  Winning pitcher Josh Scheer scattered 7 hits and struck out 9 in going the distance in the complete game effort.

EJ Burk went 4-for-4 with a double, triple, and 3 RBI, Hunter Perry went 3-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI, and Paul Miller and Zac Wiley each added 2 hits in the victory.  Mason Jeffries went the distance, allowing 3 hits in his 5 innings of work for the win.

Madison Central 6, #16 Lafayette 5

#18 Bullitt East 11, Southern 1
Zach Masden went 2-for-3 with a double, triple, and 3 RBI, Zac Ching and Jacob Bowles added 2 hits apiece, and Brayden Blair drove in 2 runs in the victory. 

#20 Paducah Tilghman 13, Apollo 5
Trevor England went 3-for-3 with a double and 4 RBI, and Nathan Hawins went 3-for-5 with a double and RBI as Tilghman routed Apollo.  Jeremiah White, Nick Shumaker, and Aaron Armstrong each added 2 hits in the win.  Shumaker allowed 4 earned runs and struck out 6 in going the distance for the win.

#21 Dixie Heights 8, Southwestern 4
Ethan Harrison went 3-for-4 with a double and RBI, Evan Hicks went 2-for-4 with a triple, and Nick Niehaus doubled and drove in 3 runs in the Colonels win.  Henry Kerns pitched a complete game to pick up the win.

#21 Dixie Heights 13, Pulaski County 6
Nick King went 2-for-3 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI, Ethan Harrison went 3-for-4 with a RBI, and Royce McGee drove in 3 runs as Dixie Heights won 2 games on the day.  Jonathan Breeden allowed 3 earned runs and struck out 5 in going 5 innings for the win.

Ryan Blevens went 2-for-3, and Travis Weber scattered 5 hits in a 69 pitch complete game effort.

Taylor County 10, Jackson TN 0
Jack Miller doubled and drove in 2 runs, Tyler Frogge had an RBI double, and Daniel Carney drove in 2 runs as Taylor County scored 7 runs in the 5th to put the game away.  Ian King tossed a complete game 4-hit shutout.

Taylor County 4, Metcalfe County 1
Noah Scott drove in 2 runs with a double, and Dalton Brown scattered 5 hits and struck out 11 in going the distance on the mound for the win.

Sayre 15, Nicholas County 3
Michael Flora went 4-for-4 with a RBI and scored 3 runs, John Van Balen went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI, and Seth Van Balen and Christian Moore each collected 2 hits.  Moore allowed 3 earned runs in his 5 innings of work to pick up the win.

Lewis Co 2, Ashland Blazer 0
Daulton Mason went 2-for-3 at the plate and fired a complete game, 3-hit shutout with 9 K’s to lead Lewis County to the win.

Sayre 6, Berea 1
Michael Flora went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI, and Aidan Elias added 2 hits and scored 3 runs as Sayre won both of their games on the day.  Elias fired a complete game, 3-hitter with 9 K’s to record the win.

DuPont Manual 6, Southwestern 4
Ben Cooper and Matthew Marino each collected 2 hits and drove in a run, Trae Gordon drove in 2 runs with a double, and Chris Gambert added 2 RBI in the Manual victory.  Jake Rist allowed 4 earned runs and struck out 7 in picking up the win in 6 innings of work.

DuPont Manual 7, Pulaski County 1
Matthew Marino went 3-for-4 with a RBI, Jake Rist went 2-for-4 with a HR and RBI, and Chris Gambert added a RBI double as Manual won its second game of the day.  Ben Flanigan fired a complete game, 1-hitter with 5 strikeouts.

Marshall County 4, Ohio County 0
Chase Bright went 2-for-3 with a RBI, and Blake Johnson added 2 hits.  Austin Johnson worked 6 strong innings to pick up the win, allowing 2 hits with 4 strikeouts.

Hopkinsville 5, Christian County 2
Easton McGee went 3-for-3, and Rashad Lewis tripled home 2 runs for Hopkinsville.  Easton McGee pitched a complete game, allowing 4 hits, 1 earned run, and striking out 6 in recording the win.

Corbin 5, Wayne County 1
Austin Combs went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI, Andrew Jones went 2-for-3 with a triple, and Peyton Buford added 2 hits in the Corbin win.  Winning pitcher Austin Combs allowed 1 earned run and struck out 7 in 5 strong innings of work.

Pikeville 5, Kentucky Country Day 4 (8 Innings)
Cody Estep went 2-for-4 and scored 3 runs, Clay Slone added 2 hits and drove in a run, and Jacob Hamilton drove in 2 runs in the extra-inning win.  Slone allowed just 1 hit and struck out 4 over 5 innings of work to pick up the win in relief.

Franklin Simpson 11, Warren Central 0
Cam Richardson went 3-for-3 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI, Austin Johnson went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, Tyler Knight drove in 3 runs, and Reed Caudill stroked a 2-run double in the rout.  Devin Gregory and Jeff England combined to allow 2 hits with 8 strikeouts in the 5-inning game.

East Jessamine 3, Conner 1
East Jessamine took advantage of 6 Conner errors to come away with the win.  Cameron Popp struck out 9 in 5.1 innings to pick up the win.

Conner 4, Fleming County 0
Jared Williams doubled and drove in a run, and Nick Craddock scattered 5 hits and struck out 5 in an efficient 74 pitch complete game effort.

Greenup County 14, Wheelersburg 4
Gage Hughes went 3-for-4 and scored 5 runs, Korey Morris went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI, JB Brown added 2 hits and drove in 2 runs, and JT Boggs doubled and drove in 4 runs in the win.  Winning pitcher Christian Wireman worked 3.2 scoreless innings without allowing a hit.

Anderson County 11, Simon Kenton 1
Brandon Eliadis and Max Crabtree each collected 2 hits, Dusty Puckett tripled and drove in 3 runs, and Brice Stockton doubled and drove in 2 runs in the 5-inning victory.  Connor Cotton allowed 3 hits and struck out 5 in the complete game.

Anderson County 5, Boyle County 0
Lucas Durr drove in 2 runs, and Josh Brown allowed 3 hits and struk out 8 in 6 innings of work for the win.

Boyle County 4, Simon Kenton 2 (9 Innings)
Josiah Robbins went 2-for-4 with a RBI to lead the Boyle County offense.  Tyler Ward allowed 2 earned runs in 6.1 innings, and Micah Miniard struck out 4 over the final 2.2 innings to pick up the win in relief.

Harlan County 11, Madison Southern 7
Blake Rutherford went 3-for-4 with a RBI, Chance Brown went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI, and Zach Doss and Scotty Bailey each added 2 hits in the win.  Jared Sizemore allowed 4 hits and 1 earned run with 6 K’s to pick up the win.

Greenwood 14, John Hardin 5
Drew Hayles went 4-for-6 with a double, triple, and 2 RBI, and Michael Justice and Nick Sanders each added 3 hits in the Greenwood victory.

Logan County 10, Butler County 0
Caleb Bruner went 3-for-3 with 2 RBI, and Ian Woodall added 2 hits and drove in a run for Logan County.  Hunter Britt threw the 5-inning complete game, allowing just 1 hit with 8 K’s.

Bryan Station 12, Montgomery County 10
Paul Hamilton went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI, and Austyn Goodwin, D’Markeo Taylor  each added 2 hits in the slugfest.  Michael Hall allowed 2 earned runs and struck out 5 in 5 innings to record the win.

Madison Central 9, Harlan County 2
Ben Morin went 2-for-2, and Jeremy Lakes allowed 1 earned run in 5 innings of work to earn the win.

North Oldham 13, Doss 0
Ethan Cleary went 3-for-4 with a double, HR, and 3 RBI, Cameron Masterman went 2-for-3 with a HR and 2 RBI, Peter Sohn added 3 hits, and Adam Judd went 2-for-3 in the North Oldham rout.  Trevor Grady threw a 5-inning no-hitter with 8 K’s.
