Here is a look at scores and highlights from around the state last evening.

#3 St. Xavier 11, Brentwood Academy TN 1
The Tigers used a 7-run first inning to cruise to the win.  Hayden Ford went 3-for-3 with a HR and 3 RBI, Avery Lane went 2-for-2 with 2 RBI, and Scott Spurlock added a triple and RBI.  Connor Underwood allowed 3 hits and 1 earned run in 6 innings to pick up the win.

#5 West Jessamine 8, East Jessamine 3
Tucker Greer went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, Trey Merida added 2 hits, and Drew Ward drove in 2 runs in the West Jessamine victory.  Dakota Greer allowed 1 hit, 3 earned runs, and struck out 6 in 5.2 innings of work for the win.

Walton Verona 4, #7 Beechwood 1
Christian Lohr pitched a complete game to lead Walton Verona to the upset win.

#10 McCracken County 7, Dyersburg TN 5

#11 Henderson County 8, Owensboro 1
Kaleb Duckworth went 3-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI, Daniel Steiner went 2-for-4 with a triple and 2 RBI, and Andrew Richmond added 2 hits in the victory.  Josh Skelton allowed 4 hits and 1 earned run in 6 innings for the win.

#12 Lexington Catholic 10, #2 Paul Laurence Dunbar 1
Willie Poe pitched 4.1 strong innings as Lexington Catholic continued an impressive run of wins.

#13 Bourbon County 17, Madison Southern 0

#14 Scott County 4, Henry Clay 0
Chase Martin went 2-for-4 with a RBI, and Matt Malesick and Tanner Blankenship each doubled as Scott County shut out Henry Clay.  Zach Sutherland fired a complete game, 4-hitter with 7 K’s for the win.

#15 Collins 3, Fairdale 2
Mason Jeffries pitched a complete game, allowing 6 hits and 2 earned runs to lead Collins to the win.

LCA 6, #16 Lafayette 5
LCA scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 6th for the comeback victory.  Drew Schacht went 4-for-4 with a double and RBI, Cody Kalinowski homered and drove in 4 runs, and Robbie Stephens added 2 hits.  Schacht allowed 3 earned runs in 6 innings of work with 5 K’s in picking up the win.

#17 Danville 11, Bardstown 1

#21 Dixie Heights 5, Simon Kenton 4
Nick King went 3-for-3 with a HR and 2 RBI, Adam Daria went 2-for-3 with a RBI, and Matthew Wehrle added 2 hits and drove in a run as Dixie took a 5-1 lead into the seventh and held on for the win.  Winning pitcher Tyler Albert allowed 1 earned run in 5 innings to earn the win.

Bethlehem 20, Thomas Nelson 1
Jimi Keating went 3-for-4 with a HR and 4 RBI, Conner Ballard went 4-for-5 with a double, triple, and scored 3 runs, Blake Brangers added 2 doubles, John Riney collected 3 hits, and Jake Yates went 2-for-4 with 3 RBI as Bethlehem pounded out 20 hits.  Thomas Osborne worked 5 innings with 5 strikeouts in the winning effort.

Taylor County 10, Larue County 9
Jack mIller went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI, Hunter MacQueary went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI, and Tyler Frogge collected 2 hits as Taylor County scored 6 runs in the top of the seventh to pull out the win. 

Franklin County 2, Western Hills 0
Rylan Rowe and Quenton Brownlee each went 2-for-3, and Brownlee fired a complete game, 4-hitter with 7 strikeouts for the win.

Ryle 5, Wyandotte Roosevelt MI 0
Mason Forbes and Colt Cordrey each doubled, and Jeremy Downs drove in 2 runs in the Ryle victory.  Jake Ziegelmeyer fired a complete game, 3-hitter with 5 K’s to pick up the win.
