Every week, PBR Massachusetts holds an interactive chat through Twitter with our followers. Our goal is to be accessible. This is your chance to take advantage of our expertise. Ask questions to Dennis Healy, Massachusetts Scouting Director, about the recruiting process, upcoming high school season, specific prospects, PBR events, or anything else that may be on your mind.

We would like to thank all who participated, we enjoy bringing you knowledge and expertise on players and programs in your area.

Next week, we will be answering questions on either Tuesday or Wednesday, stay tuned.

Six of the top questions from the Ask.FM Q&A session on March 8th

What matters more for exposure, high school season or the summer?

PBR: Summer baseball is for exposure in my opinion.

If seniors aren't committed by this point in the game, how are they gonna be going D1?

PBR: Rosters change and players transfer and of course the draft affects things.

If you verbally commit, will other schools still try and recruit you?

PBR: Some will, but it is not nearly as bad as college basketball and college football.

What do you think the best pitch in baseball is?

PBR: The 1-1 strike is the best pitch.

Thoughts on Ivy League?

PBR: Good league with restrictions due to academics. The degree from an Ivy league school sets you up for a lifetime.

Should a player focus on one position at an event?

PBR: Not necessarily, versatility is valuable.
