TEAM STRENGTHS
Patterson Mill has four returning starters from last year.  Kyle Goudy a 2016, returns at shortstop and all-county selection Matt Sprouse will patrol the outfield in center.  Billy Benson and Jeff Noss pace the pitching staff while 1B/DH Jacob Michael will keep opposing pitchers on their toes manning the middle of the batting order. All of these players got valuable experience from last season and look to lead the way for the team this year.

QUESTION MARK
After Benson and Noss the pitching staff does not have many familiar faces coming back to the bullpen.  The Huskies will need some new blood to come in and contribute in a big way to help out the pitching depth.  How quickly these young arms can contribute will be a large factor to the team, and also help save Benson and Noss from having to be extended too much.

WILDCARD
Plenty of young talent are going to be called upon to contribute this season.  Some names to keep an eye out for are sophomores Jordan Reid and Jacob Sheesley.  A large group of freshmen give the program a good foundation for future growth as well.

OVERALL
The Huskies hope to improve up their 2015 campaign.  Being in the tough UCBAC Chesapeake division leads to tough opponents every week.  Getting a couple new pitchers to step up and take the pressure off of Benson and Noss could lead to a strong step forward for the program this year.
