TEAM STRENGTHS
North Garrett’s overall strength is the abundance of key players they have returning for 2015 led by senior 1B/P Brooks Carr. Carr was a pre-season all-State nominee and an all-State performer in 2014.  Carr anchors the lineup, but do not overlook Trevon Jones, Brett Oates, Meshach Metz, Aaron Rodeheaver, and Logan Yommer.  All of these players hit over .300 for the team last season and look to improve again for 2015.

QUESTION MARK
North Garrett’s concerns center around the depth and quality of their pitching staff.  Rodeheaver may be sidelined for the season with an injury and will be hard to replace the 50 innings he logged for the Huskies last season.  This will leave only Jones and Carr as experienced pitchers. The team will need some of their younger players to get their feet wet in a hurry and step in to solidify the bullpen. That could be a huge help if Rodeheaver is able to come back from injury during the season. The rest of the team will need to stay healthy to avoid any setbacks.

WILDCARD
Brett Oates is a senior catcher coming off a nice 2014 season.  He improved throughout the season and played some of his best baseball towards the end of the year.  The Huskies are hoping that he will continue that trend and be a breakout performer for the team this upcoming year.

OVERALL
The Huskies expect to have another solid season in 2015.  The senior core of players for a solid foundation for the team this season. As long as they can stay healthy, it should be a good year from the program.  Look for this team to grow strong as the season progresses and some of their question marks are answered.  Northern Garrett should compete for an AMAC championship.
