With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Michigan is eagerly anticipating bringing the great state of Michigan the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Spring Team Preview: Seaholm Maples

Team Name: Seaholm Maples
Head Coach: John Toth Jr., 44-58
Division: I
2015 Record: 9-25
Conference Record: OAA White, 3-12
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/4

2016 Team Strengths:

  • Pitching
  • Speed at top of lineup

2016 Team Weaknesses:

  • Defense

Coach Outlook: This is my first season as the coach at Seaholm High School and I have very high expectations right away. I believe we need to change the culture and get our players to believe that they can win. We will do this by playing good defense and pitching.
