As we prepare for the upcoming 2015 high school season, we will be taking a preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

The Islanders lost 7 starting position players to graduation. Finding suitable replacements and production will be key.

2015 OUTLOOK
The outlook for DeLaSalle is positive. Priority #1 will be building an infield with the loss of 7 starting position players to graduation. The Islanders will have multiple options on the mound; but haven't found a clear #1 to lead the staff as of yet. They will be solid offensively going into the season. The outfield will be young and inexperienced this year; but the Islanders are an athletic team and count team speed as a strength. Head Coach Douge Schildgen is excited about this group; as it will be the first squad he has had where multiple players consider themselves "true" baseball players and have committed a lot of time and effort in preparing for the season.
