EMANUEL: Evansville, Valparaiso, St. Cloud State, Augustana, Iowa Western CC, Kirkwood CC and NIACC.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?
EMANUEL: PBR Preseason All-State Showcase in the winter and various showcases in the summer. The relationship between Coach Brown and I developed throughout the summer while I developed my skills playing for the Twin Cities Baseball Academy.

PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?
EMANUEL: Yes, I feel very relieved as well as excited.

EMANUEL: Playing time. North Dakota State gives me the opportunity to start behind the plate my freshman year.

EMANUEL: My father. The endless BP he has thrown and his knowledge of the game has made me the player I am today.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?
EMANUEL: It was difficult at first but once I stepped on campus at NDSU I knew I wanted to be a Bison.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?
EMANUEL: Coach Brown and Coach Pearson made it very clear to me that they expect me to come in and be their starting catcher as a freshman.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?
EMANUEL: This past summer playing with TCBA was a great experience and helped me develop as a player.

PBR: Who is the best player that you have competed against?
EMANUEL: Ben Humbert from International Falls who is currently at U. of Minnesota.
