Roster Release: 2019 NC PBR ProCase

Brandon Hall
North Carolina Director of Scouting

This upcoming Sunday, February 10th, the top players from the 2019 and 2020 class will descend on Kernersville, NC to take part in the North Carolina PBR ProCase.  Each player has been invited based on the player grade PBR scouts have assigned to players in the expansive database.  Last year's event drew over 40 professional scouts and this years roster is just as talented.

The day will start with piitchers and catcher.  Pitchers will throw controlled bullpens, one at a time, with the catchers being evaluated behind the dish.  From there, catchers will go through a defensive workout, followed by infielders and outfielders.  Finally, the day will conclude with the position players taking multiple rounds of live BP in front of the evaluators.

The North Carolina ProCase will take place at Diamond Xtreme in Kernersville, NC.  The unique indoor facility houses a 90' x 90' cage where catchers can throw a full length pop time, infielders can take a regular round of infield, and hitters can let the ball fly off the bat, allowing evaluators to see exit velocity and carry.

Below is the first look at the roster for the 2019 ProCase, as well as a quick look back at the information from the 2018 ProCase.
