2017 CONNECTICUT SPRING TEAM PREVIEW: Seymour

Team Name: Seymour
Head Coach: Jeff Gilbert
Division: M
2016 Record: 10-11
Conference Record: NVL-10-10
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/0

2017 Team Strengths:

  • Experience
  • Strong Junior Class
  • Only Senior, is  4-year starter Jaylen Kelly,

2017 Team Weaknesses:

  • Pitching, scoring runs, defense

Coach Outlook: "We have a lot of experience returning from last season. If we can replace the pitching we lost in last season, we can be a very successful team."

PBR Outlook: Look for Seymour to compete in NLV this year, four year started Jaylen Kelly, can swing the bat, brings a winning attitude to the ball park. John Chacho should log some serious innings off the bump, arm is clean and can spin the breaking ball.
