PBR's Take
Kaestle has been to two-events over the past 8-months showing some ceiling from the right-side. In Feb. his velocity was climbing, touching 85-mph from a lower-3/4 slot - enticing some attention. During the HS season his velocity stayed consistently down, ranging 77-79, topping out at 81 mph. We know the hand-speed is there, and does show above average spin on his curveball. His delivery is compact and lands across his body getting more arm-side run and deception. If his fastball velocity is back up this summer look for Kaestle to carry some offers into the fall.
