Scouting Report on Maciejewski
Trevor Maciejewski OF/RHP (Webster Thomas HS, NY 2015)
Maciejewski stands 5-foot-10 155-pounds with a slim slender frame. From the mound he throws from a high 3/4 slot with a fastball topping 79 mph. He throws an 11/5 shape curveball at 65 mph with late movement and tight spin. Mechanically he flies open with his front side, once he develops a stronger front side more action and velocity with come. At the plate his setup is tall and shoulder width apart. He strides forward on his swing with his bat traveling slightly at an incline with a high finish. His exit velocity is 70 mph. In the OF he plays the baseball in front of his body with a quick clean transfer and arm with solid carry to the bag.

Analysis:
Maciejewski worked out for us back in July from the OF and as a RHP. On the mound he projects the best and with some fine tuning he could be a quality guy in the middle of a bullpen. His fastball topped 79 mph, but with a focus on arm strength this winter will surely add a few ticks to that number. His mechanics are a bit methodical, but at times that really is not a bad thing. I will be interested to the strides he takes this off-season to get better.
