Preseason All-State Spotlight: 2B/SS Ryan Erskine

Ryan Erskine is a 5-foot-10, 165-pound 2B/SS from North Penn HS. He showed well in all facets of the game at the Eastern PA Open ID Showcase in January. Erskine displayed an accurate arm with good carry across the infield on throws of 75 mph. The unsigned senior hits from a slightly open stance and squared nearly every pitch during a solid round of batting practice. The left-handed hitter has a fluid swing that stays on plane through the hitting zone which allowed him to consistently hit line drives to all fields.
