On Wednesday, July 26th PBR Virginia held the Freshmen Free Showcase over 20 rising freshmen from around the state performed in front of the PBR Scouting staff. Today we release the statistics from the event.

An impressive day from many young players on the day, with Lake Braddock Grant Hartman putting up some of the top statistical numbers on the day. Hartman had the top infield velocity along with being tied for the top fastball on the day (77mph) and the second best exit velocity (79mph).

Lee Byrd of Smithsburg HS (MD) also tied for top fastball velocity on the day and the young right hander has a porjectable frame to go along with his sound arm action and showing of arm speed that should only continue to get better as he gets older and stronger. 

Colin Briggs had the top 60-yard dash on the day with 7.28 and Jackson Gimbel showed te top exit velocity with his 80 mph exit velo.
