Trevor Barnes has played plenty of baseball outside the state lines of West Virginia, playing travel baseball with the Richmond Braves (VA) National program and participating in the 2013 summer wood bat league at the IMG Academy in Florida. Barnes will be expanding his the wide area he has traveled to play as he prepares to make a trip down under to Sydney, Australia this coming December. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound 1B/LHP, currently ranked No. 5 in the WV Class of 2017, has been selected to represent Team USA in the 2014 Goodwill Series Games. The 16U roster is sponsored by the Cincinnati Reds and includes players from seven states as well as two players from American Samoa.
