Scouting Report

Physical 6-foot-3, 210-pound frame. Mature, advanced body with elite strength throughout, strong lower half, bulging forearms, wide back. Right-handed hitter hits from a tall stance, balanced strong base, patient hitter with feel for the strike zone. Uses a line-drive approach with above average power. Takes a physical pass with occasional length producing an exit velocity of 100 mph. Defensively, profiles as a corner outfielder or first baseman with solid actions, moves well for his size with a medium arm action and high ¾ arm stroke with solid carry producing an outfield positional velocity of 91 mph. On the infield, flashed solid actions with clean exchanges and accurate throws with a positional velocity of 85 mph. Solid athlete ran a 6.97 60-yard dash. Right-handed pitcher with a physical presence on the mound. Fairly fluid, in-line delivery with smooth rhythm and solid balance landing firm on a slightly closed plant foot with an athletic finish. Long, deeper take-away with a clean continuous arm action into a high-3/4 release with arm speed. Fastball sat in the 85-89 mph range and has been up to 90 mph. Flashed a quality slider with average depth at 78-79 mph. Also showed some feel for a developing changeup at 76-78 mph with arm-side fade.
