Central Texas Scout Notebook: Part 1

AUSTIN, TX - Opening weekend was hammered hard by a late February cold snap throughout central Texas. Baseball in February is always a crap shoot and we happened to lose that bet this year. However, our staff has been busy across central Texas looking to bring you video and scouting tidbits from a handful of the premier players in the area. There will be many more games to see and players to watch, but let's take a peek at some of the players we have seen early in the 2022 season.

 

 

+ 2023 RHP Travis Sykora (Texas Commit)

There was lots of buzz towards the end of the 2021 season when the long and lanky RHP was up to 97 mph in a playoff game against Lake Travis in front of a hostile crowd. His first outing of the 2022 spring picked up right where he left off.....
