Davis Churchman was 2-3 with an RBI to lead Centennial over Urbandale. 4 other players contributed RBI's in the contest. Michael VanDerHeyden threw a complete game going 7 innings and allowing 6 hits, 2 runs, 1 earned with 3 walks and 2 strikeouts.

WDM Valley 6 Marshalltown 1
Keller Prien went 4-4 with a run scored and an RBI; Arthur Sells was 1-4 with a home run and 3 RBI's to lead the Tigers over Marshalltown. Prien, Sells and Calvin Stalzer combined on the mound to limit M'town to 2 hits, 1 run with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts.

Mason City Newman Catholic 13 Forest City 3
Joey Verstegen went 3-4 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI's; Parker Dondlinger was 3-4 with a run scored and 4 RBI's; and Spencer Wilhm was 3-4 with 3 RBI's as Newman Catholic routed Forest City 13-3.

Hinton 9 West Sioux 6
Jay Small was 3-4 with 3 runs scored and an RBI; Terrill Henrich was 3-4 with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI's; and Truman Schmitt was 2-3 with 3 RBI's to lead Hinton. West Sioux's Porter Hummel was 3-4 with a run scored and 2 RBI's in a losing effort. Blake Vande Hoef picked up the win in relief going 5.1 innings allowing 3 hits, 1 run, 1 walk and had 8 strikeouts.

Cedar Rapids Jefferson 4 Davenport Central 2
The J-Hawks scored 3 runs in the 6th to beat Davenport Central 4-2. John A. Logan CC commit, Lucas Larson, was 1-3 with 4 RBI's in the contest. Tyler Davidson picked up the win going 6 1/3 innings and Colton Knox picked up the save closing the door with 2 outs.

2015 Ben Kruse was outstanding on the mound going 6 innings allowing 4 hits, 1 run, 1 walk and picking up 10 strikeouts. Jarrin Flores provided all the offensive support going 3-3 with 3 RBI's.
