2014 Player Spotlight; Pierce Hardacker

Pierce Hardacker, 2014 Park Tudor High school, recently attended a showcase this fall. Hardacker was rated one of the top 5 prospects at the event. Hardacker is an athletic 5-foot-11, 160 pound SS/RHP.  In the field he shows good defensive actions with soft hands and the ability to get rid of the ball quickly.. Across the diamond he shows a strong, accurate arm at 81 mph.  At the plate he shows a two part swing, and gets to extension.  He has good eye-hand coordination and shows the ability to barrel up a lot of balls.  

Pitching-Hardacker shows a refined simple delivery with a quick arm. Hardacker’s breaking ball is sharp at times and should be an out pitch in high school. Hadacker was 81-82.  

Pierce has had two older brothers go on to play college baseball, most recently Kyle Hardacker a 2011 grad from Park Tudor plays at Kenyon College. Kyle hit .385 last year as a freshman.
