According to the Coach

2015 McCracken County Mustangs will be lead by Western Kentucky signee Cole Womack, John A. Logan signee Josh Scheer, and Georgetown College signee Ryan Garner. The Mustangs will rely on a solid pitching staff led by Scheer and a strong defensive unit with Womack and junior Murray St. signee Keegan Breese anchoring down the middle. Daniel Seitzinger, Southeastern Illinois College signee Tyler Hicks, and Reid Pope will be patrolling the outfield with sophomore Daniel Myatt and junior Jeffery Mathis getting action. Derek Schneider, Issac Lineberry, and James Michael Dodd are competing for the starting catching position. Sophmore Trent Shelby is the leading candidate at 3rd base with Myatt and junior Ian Walters. Walters will also see time up the middle because both Womack and Breese will be in the Mustang pitching rotation. Junior Chad Williams could contribute to the Mustang line-up. Offensively the Mustangs will fill a solid lineup but need the newcomers to step up and be contributors.
