On Sunday October 18, 25 plus prospects from all across the state of Louisiana participated in a pro-style workout at Louisiana Baseball and Softball Academy in Harahan, LA in front of the PBR Louisiana Scouting Staff and several college coaches in attendance. Below is a look at some of the statistical leaders as well as the complete list of showcase stats.

Top Home To First Times

Infielder, Grant Schulz (Holy Cross HS), showed fast twitch actions posting a 4.10 60 home to first time.

Physical catcher, Cain Castille, from Lafayette HS, also showed nice athleticism running a 4.10 home to first time.

Top Positional Velocities

Pearl River OF, Daniel Charbonnet, showed a loose arm action and a positional velocity of 86 mph.

Infielder, Hunter Stanley (St. Thomas Aquinas), showed solid arm strength posting a positional velocity of 85 mph.

Outfielder, Dean Alexander (Thomas Jefferson), continues to develop showing a clean arm action with arm strength and a positional velocity of 85 mph.

Infielder, Mike Romano (Mandeville), showed surprising strength posting a 90 mph exit velocity

Chase Fals (Pearl River), showed raw strength posting a 90 mph exit velocity as well.

Holy Cross infielder, Grant Schulz,  showed a solid array of tools that included an 89 mph exit velocity.

Top Fastball Velocities

Unknown RHP Connor Maginnis (Jesuit), exploded on the scene with an 88-90 mph fastball, clean and easy arm action, as well as showing solid feel to spin a slider.

RHP Mike Romano (Mandeville), showed a solid three-pitch mix that included a fastball up to 85 mph.

Physically imposing LHP, Chase Fals (Pearl River), showed a loose arm action that resulted in a fastball velocity up to 84 mph.
