TEAM STRENGTHS
Team strengths include depth in pitching with several potential starters and strong relief.  Defense will be solid up the middle and when you are strong in the middle it only strengthens a team.  Alex Parker is arguably one of the top catchers in the league but also put in a nice performance at the Maryland Preseason ID on the mound.  The 2016 arm was 83-86 with some projection. Felts, a Washington College commit, will also provide good presence on the team.

QUESTION MARK
McDonogh needs to work on their team speed to compete with other teams in the conference.  The MIAA ???A??? is a very tough league and its tough competition every game.  Speed is something that never goes in a slump, so if they can build some up, it could be a big help to the team.  They are improving their hitting and if practice pays off they have a chance to be successful.

WILDCARD
A few young players to look out for are Miles Maganuhan and Paul DiPino.  Both are young and talented and could be pleasant surprises for the program.

OVERALL
The Eagles have matured another year and are ready to tackle the 2015 season.  Having so many returning players should weigh in McDonogh???s favor.  In a tough league they will have to play at their top level every night.  If the pitching staff can keep them in the games, they should be able to increase their win total from a year ago.
