As we prepare for the upcoming 2015 high school season, we will be taking a preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

OUTLOOK
Seneca will have to replace two players that were a big part of the team last season in Payton Rawlins and Dalan Merriman.  With seven players and two pitchers returning, the Indians will have experience and depth in their senior class.   Seneca will be led by senior LHP/OF Brayden Larson, who was an Honorable-Mention All-Conference selection in the outfield as a junior, and was named the team's most improved player.  UTL Zach Horine was the team's co-defensive player last season and will expected to play a bigger role in 2015. The Indians will also lean on seniors Calvin Ackerson, Jacob Walker and Jacob Brubaker on the infield as well as the mound this season. Coach Yust's squad won't have an easy road into the state playoffs, as preseason #5 Monett stands in their way in district play.  But don't count out Coach Yust and his team. Coach Yust was recently inducted into the Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
