Scouting Report on Kruszka
Matthew Kruszka RHP/MIF (Gowanda HS, NY 2017)
Kruszka stands 5-foot-7 155-pounds and is lean. On the mound he throws from a mid 3/4 slot with his fastball sitting 75-76 mph. He shows a 69 mph curveball with 12/6 shape. Mechanically he is sound through his delivery.

At the plate he stands balanced with his bat on his shoulder. He uses a back load and a knee lift for timing. His bat path is level through the zone keeping hands inside the ball with a nice high finish. His exit velocity was 79 mph. From the MIF he fields the ball wide and funnels the ball high before his release. Plays a little raw but is young, moves his feet fast and throws form a low 3/4 slot at 75 mph across the field. He ran a 7.3 60 yard dash.

Analysis:
Kruszka has a bunch of time to grow and develop on the ball diamond. After seeing him July 15 th in North Collins I left being very impressed with his raw ability and desire to play the game. He worked the middle infield with good actions and athleticism and has the signs of a developing next level arm. With the bat he makes good solid contact but needs to improve his overall body strength. There is a good chance we will see both Kruszka brother's at our Underclass Games Sept 7th, invite only event.
