ADA (4A) vs WOODWARD (5A) 3-2 - Tuttle Tournament
A pitching duel all the way to the end when a dropped fly ball allowed the winning run to score in the bottom of the eighth. Jackson McFarlane earned the win for Ada tossing a complete game, giving up two runs, one earned, on nine hits, striking out six and walking three. Sladydn Covalt threw a complete game himself, giving up three runs, two earned, on eight hits, striking out 10 and walking only one. Offensively, for Woodward, Seth Sims was the big producer going 3-for-4 with a double. For Ada, it was McFarlane leading the way at the dish as well, going 3-for-3 with a stolen base.

Oklahoma commit Levi Prater was in control on the mound for the entire game. Prater didn’t allow a run on three hits, struck out 15, and didn’t surrender a walk. Offensively, Howard JC commit Darian Davis lead the way for the Pirates going 2-for-3 with two RBI’s, two runs scored, a stolen base, and a walk. Trajan Blue was also 2-for-3 with a double and RBI. For Weatherford, Lorenzo Garcia was able to keep Byng at bay for four innings, giving up two unearned runs on three hits, and striking out four.

The Bronchos jumped out early scoring three in the first and tacking on one in the second. This would be all senior left-hander Ethan Brady would need, as he was able to hold down the Eisenhower offence.

ELGIN (4A) @ TUTTLE (4A) 1-2 - Tuttle Tournament 
A great pitching matchup pitted Elgin’s Jaken Snider against Tuttle’s Cody Carlton, and the results were as expected. Snider struck out six in his three innings for work allowing only one hit and no walks before having to leave the game after injuring himself on a would be base hit. Carlton needed no help, finishing the game with one earned run on three hits, striking out five and walking two.
