A 5-foot-6, 170-pound frame with strength. Offensively, a right-handed hitter, middle-pull line drive approach. Hits from an open stance, good rhythm, knee-knock leg kick, short to the ball, flat through extension, found consistent barrel, 81 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.54 laser-timed 60. Defensively, advanced actions all the way around.  A skilled blocker and receiver, excellent exchanges, quick feet. Over-the-top slot with some arm strength, 76 mph, some accuracy. Had a showcase best 1.94-2.00 pop time range.

A 5-foot-7, 175-pound frame with some strength. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an upright and open set-up with rhythm throughout. Uses a moderate leg kick and stride with a hand pump load for timing, short to the ball with a flat path through extension. In BP, shows a gap-to-gap, flat approach, consistent barrels, 84 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.39 60. Defensively, an advanced receiver and blocker with clean footwork and exchanges. Throws from an over the top with a short arm stroke, 1.94-2.00 showcase pop times, 76 mph with accuracy. In the game, went 1-for-4 with an RBI single up the middle on a breaking ball.

8-31-17

The 5-foot-7, 175-pound right-hander ran his fastball up to 84-86 mph consistently in the strike zone. Curveball had 11/5 shape with some depth and kept hitters off balance, relied on it late in the game, 70-72 mph. Jackson tossed a complete game shutout
