2A #17 Bristol @ 3A Lower moreland (may 2)

Playing without their top player, Bristol survived a furious late rally by Lower Moreland to pull out the road victory 13-11 in eight innings. The game turned into a battle of the bullpens, as the two teams combined to use seven pitchers.

Jordan PocrassIt was a back-and-forth affair early, with only one goose egg going up on the scoreboard through the first seven half innings. Two crooked numbers from the Bristol offense in the 5th & 6th swelled their lead to 11-6, but that's just when things started to get interesting. Lower Moreland sent 12 men to the plate in the bottom of the 7th, plating six runs to tie the game, the final two of which came on 2014 IF/RHP Jordan Pocrass' second hit of the inning, a line-drive double down the left field line. However, the Lions would leave the bases loaded that inning, and again in the bottom of the 8th, as they could not quite get over the hump.

The hitting stars on the day for the victorious Warriors were 2013 SS Mike Petrino (3-5, 2B, RBI; also picked up the win in relief), 2015 OF Ryan Bauman (3-4, 3B, 2 RBI) and 2013 3B Gino Cefalone (3-5, HR, 3 RBI).

In addition to Pocrass (2-5, 2B, 2 RBI), the Lions were led by 2014 2B Pete Ebert (1-2, 2B, BB, 3 HBP), 2014 OF Tyler Hunn (2-5, 2B, RBI) and 2014 1B Joe Leventhal (2-5, 2B, 2 RBI).
