Dan Williams Named Director of Scouting for Western Pennsylvania

It is with great pleasure that Pennsylvania Executive Director of Scouting Greg Williams has announced the appointment of Dan Williams to the position of Western Pennsylvania Director of Scouting.

A licensed physical therapist since 1991, Williams was the rehabilitation consultant to the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1994-1996, spending time with the team in Bradenton, Florida for spring training.

Williams has coached high school baseball and competitive travel baseball in Pennsylvania and Ohio since 1996 with countless former players going on to play college baseball.

Most recently Williams acted as the pitching coach for Baird Brothers in the Youngstown Class B League assisting 16 players on the roster in moving on to college baseball, 12 of which will be playing at the Division I level.

Williams joins an extensive staff in Pennsylvania that works tirelessly to bring to you the most comprehensive high school baseball information in Pennsylvania while providing coverage to all corners of the state. Many Pennsylvania summer events are already set up at top-flight venues across the state and more will be announced in the near future.
