District 11 Player of the Year: SS/RHP Justin Aungst

AungstPBR's District XI Player of the Year is Salisbury Township's Justin Aungst.  The 6-foot, 165-pound shortstop hit .478 with 27 R, 16 XBH, 34 RBI, a .519 OBP and .728 SLG while leading the Falcons to the Colonial League championship and PIAA class AA semifinals. He notched a base hit in 25 of 27 games, while recording at least one run scored or one RBI in all but one contest.

As good as his offensive numbers were, Aungst might just be a better prospect on the mound. He used an 84-87 FB and solid 69-71 CB to go 9-1 with a 2.39 ERA, 40 H, 24 BB and 54 K in 52.2 IP.
