GrossRHP/1B Mark Gross, Butler Area HS, Class of 2015

Gross is a 6-foot-2, 190-pound prospect with a projectable frame and athletic actions. Gross ran a 7.89 60-yard dash and showed a capable glove around the 1B bag. Gross showed good life to throws of 78 mph across the diamond. The left-handed hitter has a slightly open, wide set up and stays behind the baseball well to create barrel whip and a bat exit velocity of 80 mph. Gross barreled the baseball consistently and showed the potential to be a quality high school hitter. The righty impressed on the mound sitting 82-83 with arm side run to his fastball. His 68 mph 11/5 breaking spike curveball showed good late bite and his 75 mph changeup was thrown at near fastball arm speed. Gross' best pitch was a 75 mph cutter that showed good late action and was thrown routinely for strikes.

SS/RHP Luke Kisiel, Connelsville HS, Class of 2015

Kisiel is a 5-foot-10, 140-pound SS/RHP who showed athletic actions in the middle infield. He has a clean exchange and fluid release across the diamond. Kisiel utilized a square stance and a strong lower half to create a bat exit velocity of 68 mph. He has a flat bath and squared the baseball routinely to all fields during his round of batting practice.
