With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Spring Team Preview: Fairfield Union Falcons

Team Name: Fairfield Union Falcons
Head Coach: Chris Weber
Division: II
2015 Record: 12-18
Conference Record: Mid-State League - Buckeye, 4-10
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/5

2016 Team Strengths:

• Pitching
• Depth
• Leadership

2016 Team Weaknesses:

• Untested arms

Coach Outlook: "Will be more competitive with an influx of young talent and upper classmen that were part of the program last year. Didn't have a great year but did have some great wins (beat top-seed Miami Trace in the tournament, swept Logan Elm."

PBR Outlook: Coach Weber and the Falcons return a lot from a team that figured it out late in the season during the tournament. Will they be able to use that momentum as a springboard into 2016?
