The fall of 2015 is going to be an exciting time for Prep Baseball Report VA/DC. We have numerous showcase events scheduled throughout the Commonwealth as well as our first youth tournaments. Here is some additional information on these events:

+Fall Open ID Series:
Our Open ID Series will allow players to get in front of PBR staff so that we can create a scouting report for each participant’s file as well as collect video and measurables, all of which will be available to the over 500 colleges nationwide that use Prep Baseball Report and trust our information. These events are outstanding opportunities, regardless of what class you are in. For underclassmen, attending one of these events opens up the possibility of attending Invite-Only events in the future, such as the Top Prospect Games, Super 60, or the Futures Games held every summer.

This fall, our ID series will be held on four weekday evenings at different locations throughout the Commonwealth. The Northern VA Open ID will be held at Patriot High School in Northern Virginia. The Central VA Open ID will be held at Hanover High School in the Richmond area. Liberty Christian Academy in the Lynchburg area will host the Western VA Open ID. And lastly, PBR VA/DC will return to Nansemond River High School for the Southern VA Open ID.

+Top Prospect Games:
On Halloween weekend, Prep Baseball Report VA/DC will host our 2nd Fall Top Prospect Games . This year, they will take place at James Madison University in Harrisonburg. So far, 31 participants for the 2014 Top Prospect Games have committed to a Division I school, and the many of the players from that event who have not yet committed will be doing so in the near future. This event is a great way to get in front of coaches from some of the best schools in the Mid-Atlantic region, as well as to get video, stats, and an updated scouting report on your PBR website profile.  Last years event had over 30 Division I schools in attendance with more to follow this year.

+Unsigned Senior Games:
In early November, Prep Baseball Report VA/DC will host our first Unsigned Senior Games at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg. This event will be a great chance for uncommitted seniors to get in front of our staff and the coaches in attendance one last time before Signing Day. This will be a great opportunity for players to be exposed to Division I schools looking to find a late bloomer, as well as, to be exposed to the many outstanding Division II and Division III programs in the region that play baseball at a very high level and offer outstanding educations.

+Youth Tournaments:
Prep Baseball Report VA/DC will also host its first Youth Tournaments this fall, with two tournaments for teams ranging in age from 9U to 15U. The PBR September Shootout will be held the weekend of September 18-20 in Haymarket in Northern Virginia. The second tournament will be the PBR Columbus Day Classic, which will also be held at fields in the Haymarket area. The goal of these tournaments is to get the quality youth teams from the Commonwealth on the field playing against each other and the players improving from that experience. The 13U, 14U, and 15U tournaments will also be scouted by PBR staff, with information being collected for Scout Blogs that can be seen by all of our member schools.
