OUTLOOK

Jack Holley, a former player and longtime assistant coach at Wabash will take over as head coach of the Apaches this spring.  Holley was a member of the 1986 State Champion team and played college baseball at Valparaiso University.  Holley's team returns a total of four position starters and three arms off last year's 15-13 squad.  Leading the way for the Apaches this spring is senior outfielder Kyle Kelsheimer, a 5-foot-9, 170 pounder who hit .424 last spring with 39 runs and an OBP of .518.  Another senior expected to contribute is senior catcher Kody Fuller.  Fuller hit .226 with 15 RBI last season as a Junior.  Holley will rely on three Juniors this spring.  SS/RHP Treavor Floor hit .303 with a .354 OBP as a sophomore. Jordan Holley, a 6-foot-1, 175 pound OF/RHP, returns to the lineup after hitting .351 with 10 RBI and an OBP of .486.  Jordan Brunsworth, a 6-foot-3, 250 pound 1B/RHP is also expected to make an impact this season.  Wabash will have to keep up with Southwood, Northfield, Whitko and Rochester in order to stay in the upper half of the conference standings.
