2017 Underclass Preview: Drew Mathies

The 2017 Underclass Preview Showcase is coming up on Sunday, October 18th at Grand Park in Westfield, IN.  Leading up to the event we will be highlighting some of the top players scheduled to be in attendance.

Player Name: Drew Mathies 
High School: Shelbyville
Primary Position: MIF

Notes: Mathies is an athletic, 5-foot-11, 160 pound MIF that possesses solid actions up the middle, showing fluid feet and soft hands.  The exchange is clean and displays some arm strength across the diamond at 82 mph.  He ran a 6.91-60 at the Top Prospect Games in June.  Offensively, he hits from a balanced setup using a short stride.  His bat path is level with average bat speed.  He's recorded a high exit velocity of 80 mph off the tee.
