The Eastern Shore showcase took place July 26th at Parkside HS in Salisbury, MD. Talent was on display from the area, including Delaware, Virginia, and Western Maryland. Again it was another impressive performance in front of the PBR Maryland Scouting staff.

gauthier2017 Austin Gauthier (pictured, right) had one of the top overall performances on the day, running a 6.88 60-yard dash with sound actions from the infield and bat speed at the plate.  The uncommitted middle infielder is an intriguing prospect that still has room to grow and get stronger.

Also breaking out on the scene was 2020 RHP/C Dominic Velazquez. The young right-handed arm was up to 83 mph on the mound with a quick arm throwing from a high ¾ arm angle. Velazquez looks to be a player to keep an eye on in the coming years.  His Dover HS (DE) teammate, 2019 Hiram Davis, is another intriguing prospect with a projectable frame, loose arm action and still has some growing to do. A few players that have really progressed since the last time we go to see them include Jacob Booze, Zach Savage, and Brett Swift.

Overall four players ran a sub-7.00 60-yard dash. Stay tuned for more information from the event.  For now, take a look at the statistics from the event by CLICKING HERE.
