On Tuesday, June 24 at Atkins Baseball Complex in Columbia, Missouri, Prep Baseball Report held the Mid-Missouri Prospect ID.  In the next few days, we will look at catchers, infielders and outfielders individually. Today, we will break down the pitchers in the event.  Although, may players did another position besides pitching, this is just a look at pitching performances.

Top Prospects

Jake Bohlken (Smithville, RHP, 2016)
Bohlken is a strong 6-foot-3, 215-pound right-handed pitcher. He has a high ¾ delivery and sound arm action. Jake throws with regular effort and throws strikes. Bohlken had a fastball velocity range of 76-83 MPH. His curveball was at 69-71 MPH with 11/5 tilt with sharp, slurve break. Jake also displayed a change-up that ranged from 73-75 with near fastball arm speed.

Tyler Murphy (Fort Osage, RHP, 2015)
Murphy is a strong 6-foot-0, 185-pound right-handed pitcher. He has a high ¾ delivery and sound arm action. Tyler throws with regular effort and throws strikes. Murphy had a fastball velocity range of 79-81 MPH. His curveball was at 63-65 MPH with 11/5 tilt with sharp break. Tyler also displayed a change-up that ranged from 71-75 MPH with fastball arm speed.

Josh Miller (Clopton, RHP, 2016) 
Miller is a lanky, athletic 6-foot-2, 160-pound right-handed pitcher. He has a high ¾ delivery with loose arm action. Josh throws with easy effort, smooth rhythm, and stays level with his shoulders. He displayed good balance and an athletic finish. Miller had a fastball velocity range of 78-81 MPH (2nd at the event). His curveball was at 61-64 MPH with 11/5 tilt. Josh displayed a splitter that ranged from 66-70 with near fastball arm speed and good sink.

Logan Vogel (Fatima, RHP, 2015)
Vogel is an athletic 6-foot-0, 160-pound right-handed pitcher. He has a high ¾ delivery and quick arm speed with loose arm action. Logan throws with easy effort, has smooth rhythm, and stays level with his shoulders. Vogel had a fastball velocity range of 73-80 MPH. His curveball was at 57-63 MPH with 11/5 tilt and late action. Vogel displayed a forkball that ranged from 65-69 with near fastball arm speed and good run.

Will Robertson (Fatima, LHP, 2016)
Robertson is an athletic 6-foot-0, 170-pound left-handed pitcher. He has a high ¾ delivery with a repeatable delivery. Will throws with easy effort, has smooth rhythm, and stays level with his shoulders. He displayed good balance and athleticism. Robertson had a fastball velocity range of 77-80 MPH. His curveball was at 60-61 MPH with 11/5 tilt and sharp action. Will displayed a change-up that ranged from 65-69 with near fastball arm speed.

Jackson Caley (Pleasant Hill, RHP, 2018)
Caley is an athletic 5-foot-8, 135-pound right-handed pitcher. He has a high ¾ delivery and very good arm speed. Caley has great balance through his delivery and throws with regular effort. His landing is in-line and he finishes in an athletic position. Jackson had a fastball velocity range of 68-74 MPH. His curveball was at 57-58 MPH with 11/5 tilt and sharp break. Caley’s change-up ranged from 58-63 with good sink. Jackson threw a ton of strikes.

Kaelen Dowling
(Battle, RHP, 2016)
Dowling is a 5-foot-8, 160-pound right-handed pitcher. He is a smaller athletic build. Dowling has average arm speed with an over-the-top delivery. He fought his control, because he rushed a little in his delivery. He had a FB velocity range of 71-75 MPH. His CB was at 61-62 MPH with 12/6 tilt and his CH ranged from 60-64 with some sink. Dowling’s change-up was thrown at near fastball arm speed.  

Matthew Drummond (Shawnee Mission Northwest (KS, RHP, 2016)
Drummond is an athletic 5-foot-11, 170-pound right-handed pitcher. He has a high ¾ delivery with loose arm action. Matthew throws with regular effort, smooth rhythm, and stays level with his shoulders. He displayed good balance and an athletic finish. Drummond had a fastball velocity range of 75-79 MPH. His curveball was at 62-65 MPH with 11/5 tilt and has sharp, late, slurve action. Matthew also displayed a change-up that ranged from 69-71 with near fastball arm speed and good sink. 

Cole Dunham (Lee's Summit West, RHP, 2016)
Dunham is a 5-foot-9, 160-pound right-handed pitcher. He has an athletic build. Dunham has a high ¾ delivery with quick arm speed and loose arm action. He throws with smooth rhythm and level shoulders. He had a FB velocity range of 73-79 MPH. His CB was at 63-65 MPH with 11/5 tilt and his CH ranged from 65-71 with run. Dunham also displayed a good slider.

Jeffrey Eidelman (Parkway Central, LHP, 2016)
Eidelman is an athletic 6-foot-1, 178-pound left-handed pitcher. He has an over-the-top delivery and loose arm action. Jeffrey throws with regular effort, keeps his shoulders level, and lands square to the target. Eidelman had a fastball velocity range of 64-70 MPH. His curveball was at 56-57 MPH with 11/5 tilt. Jeffrey also displayed a change-up that ranged from 64-66 with near fastball arm speed and had good run. 

Austin Fiorella (Lee's Summit North, RHP, 2015)
Fiorella is an athletic 6-foot-0, 180-pound right-handed pitcher. He has an over-the-top delivery and quick arm action. Austin throws with easy effort, keeps his shoulders level, and has an athletic finish. Fiorella had a fastball velocity range of 72-77 MPH. His curveball was at 60-65 MPH with 11/5 tilt with sharp break. Austin also displayed a change-up that ranged from 62-64 with near fastball arm speed.

Trevor Henke (Salisbury, RHP, 2017)
Henke is an athletic 5-foot-11, 170-pound right-handed pitcher. He has a high ¾ delivery and quick arm speed with short arm action. Trevor throws with regular effort and stays in-line with the target. Henke had a fastball velocity range of 69-75 MPH. His curveball was at 61-63 MPH with 11/5 tilt and sharp break. Henke’s change-up ranged from 66-71 with near fastball arm speed.

Brady Marshall (Francis Howell, RHP, 2016)
