Dirk Otterstein (Lutheran South) is a 6-foot 160-pound RHP. Otterstien was 6-1 with a 2.27 ERA last season for the Lancers. He tossed 46.3 innings with 40 strike-outs and allowed 17 walks as a junior. He led Lutheran South to a 19-13 season with a loss to state-champion Westminster in the state playoffs.
Otterstein has received interest in Truman State, Maryville, Lindenwood, Webster, and Westminster. He has visited Westminster and plans to go on other visits in the next few months.
He also plays basketball for the Lancers and played summer baseball with the Natural. Otterstein ha a 3.2 GPA and a 27 ACT. He is a four-year letter winner in baseball and was named First Team All-Conference in 2013.
